NYCLU Amicus Curiae Brief: Hulinsky v. County of Westchester

The NYCLU submitted an amicus brief in support of a local clinic access law Westchester County passed to ensure that people can go to reproductive health care clinics without facing intimidation, harassment, obstruction, or violence, simply because they need to go to the doctor.

The brief argues that the Westchester clinic access law makes it clear that people who seek reproductive health careĀ  in Westchester will be able to access care to feel safe while doing so, and that the legislation ensures that people who want to protest outside of clinics can continue to do so within the bounds of the First Amendment and in accordance with New York law.

As bold as the spirit of New York, we are the NYCLU.
